{"id":10100,"date":"2018-10-05T09:39:01","date_gmt":"2018-10-05T15:39:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.717madisonplace.com\/?p=10100"},"modified":"2018-10-05T09:53:10","modified_gmt":"2018-10-05T15:53:10","slug":"downturn-in-visiting-judges-at-the-federal-circuit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.717madisonplace.com\/?p=10100","title":{"rendered":"Downturn in visiting judges at the Federal Circuit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It is interesting to note that there has been a significant downturn in the number of visiting judges at the Federal Circuit since Chief Judge Michel retired. \u00a0My sense is that even more so than the &#8220;Rader&#8221; court, the &#8220;Prost&#8221; court has had fewer visiting judges than the &#8220;Michel&#8221; court. \u00a0During the visit to Chicago this week, no Seventh Circuit or N.D. of Illinois judges sat with the Federal Circuit to hear oral arguments.<\/p>\n<p>That being said, I don&#8217;t think it is necessarily a bad thing.
