In particular, claim scope can be narrowed &#8220;when the patentee disavows the full scope of a claim term either in the specification or during prosecution.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.com\/scholar_case?case=12749337109198734961&amp;q=full+ordinary+and+customary+meaning&amp;hl=en&amp;as_sdt=4,131\"><em>Thorner v. Sony Comput. Ent. Am. LLC,<\/em> 669 F.3d 1362, 1365 (Fed. Cir. 2012)<\/a>. This disavowal must be &#8220;clear and unmistakable&#8221; so as to overcome the &#8220;heavy presumption&#8221; that claim terms carry their full ordinary and customary meaning. <a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.com\/scholar_case?case=17677273514962642616&amp;q=full+ordinary+and+customary+meaning&amp;hl=en&amp;as_sdt=4,131\"><em>Plantronics, Inc. v.
