{"id":2228,"date":"2010-04-22T11:02:58","date_gmt":"2010-04-22T17:02:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.717madisonplace.com\/?p=2228"},"modified":"2010-04-22T12:49:10","modified_gmt":"2010-04-22T18:49:10","slug":"where-do-you-draw-the-line-between-common-sense-and-hindsight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.717madisonplace.com\/?p=2228","title":{"rendered":"Where do you draw the line between &#8220;common sense&#8221; and hindsight?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Electronic check processing is a quickly developing\u00a0field that is becoming the subject of an increasing number of\u00a0patent applications.\u00a0 The non-obviousness of one such application (assigned to a government charter organization, the Federal\u00a0Reserve Bank of Dallas)\u00a0was the subject of oral argument recently in<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> In re Schreck<\/span>, 2009-1569 (Fed. Cir.
