{"id":3060,"date":"2010-09-27T18:36:34","date_gmt":"2010-09-28T00:36:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.717madisonplace.com\/?p=3060"},"modified":"2010-09-27T18:52:31","modified_gmt":"2010-09-28T00:52:31","slug":"judge-omalley-nomination-moved-out-of-senate-judiciary-committee-to-full-senate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.717madisonplace.com\/?p=3060","title":{"rendered":"Judge O&#8217;Malley Nomination Moved Out of Senate Judiciary Committee to Full Senate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Senate Judiciary Committee held a vote on Judge Kathleen O&#8217;Malley last Thursday during its business meeting.\u00a0 By voice vote of the committee members, Judge O&#8217;Malley&#8217;s nomination was approved unanimously by the quorum of senators.\u00a0 Her nomination will now move to the full Senate for a vote at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>The Senate Judiciary Committee has not yet held a hearing on nominee Edward C. DuMont for a second vacancy on the Federal Circuit.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A third vacancy still has no nominee from the White House.<\/p>\n<p>During the committee meeting,\u00a0Chairman Leahy noted that the Federal Circuit currently has three vacancies and that the committee has to &#8220;get moving&#8221; on the pending nominations.\u00a0 The D.C.
