{"id":4234,"date":"2011-07-18T18:56:02","date_gmt":"2011-07-19T00:56:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.717madisonplace.com\/?p=4234"},"modified":"2011-07-19T02:34:40","modified_gmt":"2011-07-19T08:34:40","slug":"fuzzysharp-tech-v-3d-labs-part-i","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.717madisonplace.com\/?p=4234","title":{"rendered":"Fuzzysharp Tech. v. 3D Labs &#8212; Part I"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The recent oral argument in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Fuzzysharp Technologies, Inc.\u00a0v.\u00a03D Labs, Inc., Ltd.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0is extremely interesting if you are involved in the patenting of businesss methods and computer software.\u00a0 No decision has been issued in the case; but, the oral argument in and of itself is informative.\u00a0 The issue on appeal\u00a0concerns whether the district court was in error in granting a summary judgment of invalidity under 35 U.S.C. \u00a7101 for the asserted claims.\u00a0\u00a0 There are five claims at issue with claim 1 of the 6,618,047 patent reading as follows:\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00a01.
