About

In April of 2006, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit began publishing the oral arguments from its various cases. The Court has also relied on these public records in its opinions. The exchanges between the judges and the parties are quite interesting and sometimes humorous. This blog attempts to highlight some of the most interesting exchanges in these oral arguments.

As for the title of this blog, it is derived from the location where most oral arguments are presented for the Federal Circuit — 717 Madison Place, N.W. in Washington, D.C.
